Bill is a Principal at White Oak Storage. Prior to White Oak, Bill founded Guaranty Self Storage in 1997. He grew the company to 15 employees and developed six self storage facilities totaling more than 5,000 units. Bill has also developed two office buildings in Leesburg, VA that are leased to Loudoun County. Bill also served as an Asset Manager for JMB Properties and was responsible for leasing and property management for an industrial portfolio of more than 3,000,000 square feet. He has been a commercial real estate broker since 1985 and is licensed in Virginia, Maryland, and the District of Columbia. In 1979 he became one of the very early Chick-fil-A franchisees and along with the founder Truett Cathy wrote the mission statement. Bill received his Bachelors and MBA from University of Cincinnati after beginning his career with Procter and Gamble.
Connor is a Principal and the Vice President of Development at White Oak Storage. Prior to White Oak, Connor was the Vice President of Acquisitions at The BurnBrae Companies and was responsible for identifying and evaluating investment opportunities. During his time at BurnBrae, he was credited with acquiring and/or developing more than $75M worth of multifamily. Prior to BurnBrae, Connor worked in the real estate industry in several capacities including capital sourcing, acquisitions, development, and asset management. Throughout his career, he has been involved in the acquisition or development of more than $1.0B in real estate assets and the origination of more than $200m in equity. Connor received his Bachelors of Business Administration from Southern Methodist University and his Masters in Real Estate Finance from Georgetown University.
Mary Claire has a natural love for real estate, growing up in a family of real estate entrepreneurs. From playing in the dirt at construction sites as a child to working in property management in the District, Mary Claire found her passion in real estate as a residential real estate broker. Mary Claire assists White Oak with land sourcing and selection. Mary Claire is a graduate of Tulane University, where she earned a Bachelors in Business with a double major in Marketing and Management, and is currently pursuing her Masters in Real Estate at Georgetown University.
